Fordham Fellows

Welcome to Fordham Fellows, a program designed to initiate talented, serious education reformers into the world of national education policy.

We brought together a cadre of the sharpest minds in American education and put them to work immediately in some of the nation's top policy shops. They are surrounded by intelligent, goal-oriented, hard-working veterans of the education policy arena.

They are on a first-name basis with leaders whose bylines appear regularly in The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, as well as any number of blogs, websites, and newsletters. They get their hands grimy working on challenging and demanding projects of real importance to their organizations.

There's no other program like this--where participants hit the ground running and never stop. The program includes a full time fellowship at one of our partner organizations, a policy seminar once a week with Fordham's Research Director and former UVA professor, Amber Winkler, and the opportunity to attend scads of fascinating education policy events in and around D.C. What they're doing is working with some of the best minds in education on important projects; creating a community with other ambitious and smart folks; and experiencing life in the nation's capital not as a typical intern, but as an engaged and dynamic policy entrepreneur. Want to learn more about what they're thinking and learning? Check out the Fordham Fellows Blog.

Sincerely,

Chester E. Finn, Jr., Michael J. Petrilli & Stafford Palmieri
