Fordham Sponsorship Accountability Report
The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation's 2008-09 Sponsorship Accountability Report, Seeking Quality in the Face of Adversity, is now available here. This yearly report covers Fordham's sponsorship practices throughout the year as well as newsworthy events related to our sponsored charter schools. You can also find detailed reports on all of Fordham-sponsored schools. Each school report contains information on the school's academic performance, educational philosophy, and compliance for the 2008-09 school year.
Quarterly Newsletter
The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation's monthly newsletter is moving to a quarterly roll-out. The newsletter will still provide information on all things sponsorship. Peruse the pages to learn about upcoming workshops and trainings, track impending deadlines, learn about our sponsored schools, or check up on new programs and regulations.

Fordham Sponsorship Application for Schools Seeking to Open in Fall 2011 is Now Available.
The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation is now accepting applications for sponsorship of schools seeking to open in the fall of 2011.
Before starting an application for sponsorship, we ask that you please fill out and submit our brief online pre-application questionnaire. This questionnaire helps us determine whether we will be able to meet your sponsorship needs before you start the application process. The questionnaire for new, start-up schools can be found here; the questionnaire for existing schools seeking new sponsorship can be found here. Please e-mail the completed form to Whitney Gilbert at wgilber@edexcellence.net. Once the questionnaire is received it shall be reviewed and Fordham will contact you for additional information or to start the application process.
New school developers are strongly encouraged to consult the Ohio Department of Education's (ODE) website for information related to starting a charter school in Ohio, and, specifically, should review the requirements of Ohio's operator provision.
